In response to the waste and impact of the international floral trade, where flowers are neither fresh nor seasonal, Little Acre provides locally-sourced arrangements that are sustainable, beautiful and long-lasting. With a name like Lily, it was only fitting that she found her passion in floristry. Both her name and love for flowers were inspired by her Mom. Born and raised in Maryland, Lily intimately understands the seasonality and varieties of blooms that fill the studio each week from our local flower farmers in neighboring Maryland and Virginia. Her favorite aspect of designing is knowing that through her designs, she plays a role in bringing beauty to life’s most meaningful events. When she's not at the studio, you can probably find her enjoying a long walk through the leafy neighborhoods of NW, reading a captivating biography, getting her boots dirty volunteering at the Horse stables, or trying out new workouts.
