About

Michelle worked as a barista in Atlanta. It was a stint cut short by her MBA but the craft and the community stuck with her. Though a corporate marketing career was in her future, she knew the coffee industry also had a place. She left Atlanta with her now wife Victoria Dean, and a fixation on the word “Bonhomie”. It means “cheerful friendliness” but looks like “Good Homie”, and sounds like “Bon Zanmi" which means good friend in Haitian Creole.
